Andrew Foster Altschul’s first novel, Lady Lazarus, will be published in early 2008. The winner of a 2007 O. Henry Prize, his stories have appeared in Best New American Voices 2006 and journals including Fence, Swink, StoryQuarterly, and One Story. He is a Jones Lecturer in creative writing at Stanford University.
