Melodie Bowsher grew up in Kansas, earned a degree in journalism from Kansas State University, and at age 20 became a staff reporter for The Wall Street Journal in Dallas. She now divides her time between writing fact and fiction. Her debut novel, My Lost and Found Life, was published in 2006.
