Craig Clevenger was born in Dallas and raised in Southern California, where he studied English at California State University, Long Beach. He is the author of 2002’s word-of-mouth phenomenon The Contortionist’s Handbook, 2005’s Dermaphoria, and the upcoming St. Heretic. He lives in San Francisco
