Marc Dugain

Born in Senegal and raised in France, Marc Dugain is author of several novels, beginning with La Chambre des officiers (The Officers’ Ward), inspired by his grandfather’s experiences in World War I. His most recent book is The Avenue of the Giants. He has since received numerous literary prizes, including le prix des libraires, le prix des Deux-Magots, and le prix Roger-Nimier. In recent years he has also directed film adaptations of his books such as La Malédiction d’Edgar (The Curse of Edgar) and Une exécution ordinaire.
