Hugo García Manríquez is a Mexican poet, recent work includes the bilingual book Anti-Humbolt, and Two Poems. Hugo is the translator of William Carlos Williams's poem Paterson, among other works. Hugo García Manríquez is the author of the chapbooks Two Poems and Painting is Finite, and two books in Spanish: No oscuro todavia and Los materiales. His first English collection is entitled Anti-Humbolt. Hugo lives in Oakland, California, where he is a graduate student in the Spanish and Portuguese Department at UC Berkeley.
