Eric Gower is an author, blogger, and cooking instructor based in Marin County. He lived in Japan for 15 years, working as an editor and writer on political economy for the Prime Minister’s office before food took over his life. He is the author of three cookbooks: The Breakaway Cook, The Breakaway Japanese Kitchen, and Eric’s Kitchen.
