Jack Hirschman is a poet, translator, editor, and current San Francisco Poet Laureate. He has written over 100 books and chapbooks of poetry, essays, and translations, and is recipient of the American Book Award Lifetime Achievement Award. His latest collection, Only Dreaming Sky, appears this year.
