In 8th grade, Monica Karaba won both the county spelling bee and a breakdancing contest at JC Penney. While at Princeton, she studied aerospace engineering and Victorian children’s literature. Having successfully sold a movie treatment, Monica is writing a humorous memoir about finding herself using colored pencils on black paper.
