Persis Karim is a poet and aspiring novelist. She is editor and contributing poet to Let Me Tell You Where I’ve Been: New Writing by Women of the Iranian Diaspora and has published poems in Alimentum, Caesura, Reed Magazine, and Red Wheelbarrow. She teaches literature and writing at San Jose State University.
