Dennis Lehane

Dennis Lehane grew up in the Dorchester section of Boston, where he has served on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Library. He has published 10 novels and numerous screenplays and short stories. His film career began when he wrote and directed an independent film called Neighborhoods in the mid-1990s, which he later described as similar to Good Will Hunting, which came later. He, his wife, and children divide their time between Boston and Los Angeles.
