Saikat Majumdar is an assistant professor of English at Stanford. He grew up in India and has studied and taught in the U.S. and Canada. His publications include a novel, Silverfish (HarperCollins India, 2007); articles on modern and contemporary literature; and short fiction, which has been twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
