Ethel Mays grew up in Tulare County where Sierra Nevada foothills rub shoulders to create pockets of unspoiled open range.Her writing is in Canadian and U.S. publications andshe’s a featured writer at Livermore’s 4th Street Studio.Only the Horses, a work-in-progress, is autobiographical.She lives in San Francisco.
