Margaret Murray was born in Pittsburgh, and graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University and Hunter College. She attended the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center and the Squaw Valley Screenwriters Conference. A technical writer and teacher with three grown children and grandchildren, Margaret lives in Pinole in the East Bay.
