Niloufar Talebi founded The Translation Project to bring contemporary Iranian Literature to wide audiences. She is the editor and translator of BELONGING: New Poetry by Iranians Around the World (North Atlantic Books, 2008).  She created Midnight Approaches, a DVD of short films, and ICARUS/RISE, a theatrical piece.
