Wolff, Tobias
Tobias Wolff received the C.C. Silver Medal for his fiction work Old School: A Novel. Wolff, a master of the memoir and the short story, is perhaps best known for his 1989 memoir of childhood, This Boy’s Life, which was adapted into a feature film. A professor in the Creative Writing Department at Stanford University, Wolff is a recipient of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the Rea Award for excellence in the short story, and the PEN/Faulkner Award.
