Up Close and Personal: The First-Person Essay with Kim Addonizio

Author of the new memoir Bukowski in a Sundress: Confessions from a Writing Life and the poetry collection Mortal Trash, Addonizio will talk about structure, creating scenes, what to leave out (and in), tone, courage, wit, and more. Whether you’re a beginning writer, or exploring a change of genre, or just need some creative inspiration, you’ll leave the workshop with new essay beginnings.

The seminar will conclude with a wine reception with the author.
