Join Litquake and the Museum of the African Diaspora for a sure-to-be fascinating conversation between Nigerian author Chinelo Okparanta and Zimbabwean author NoViolet Bulawayo. As transnational writers who both emigrated to the United States in their youth, Okparanta and Bulawayo interrogate the meaning of home and writing across continents as they redefine diaspora literature for a new generation.

Moderated by Sarah Ladipo Manyika. Music provided by Emmanuel Nado of KALW's AfricaMix.
