Award winning short story writer Tom Barbash will impart his wisdom about the ABCs of writing an impactful piece of short fiction.
Tom is author of the recent story collection Stay Up With Me, as well as the award-winning novel The Last Good Chance and the nonfiction book On Top of the World: Cantor Fitzgerald, Howard Lutnick, and 9/11; A Story of Loss and Renewal, which was a New York Times bestseller. Of his recent collection of stories, The New York Times called Tom, "a true craftsman who sweats over every sentence,” and the Daily Beast compared his work to John Cheever.
The seminar will conclude with a wine reception with the author.
