The international Lit Crawl phenomenon hit the streets of L.A.'s North Hollywood Arts District for the first time in 2013. Restaurants, bars, galleries, theaters and other hip NoHo venues hosted an evening of innovative presentations with the best of L.A.’s literary scene sampling from throughout Los Angeles County. The 2nd annual Lit Crawl LA is greater L.A.'s grassroots literary event and this year's Crawl was another magical, vibrant night for all!
Held in three 45-minute rounds, Lit Crawl LA provides a chance for writers, readers, and revelers to dine, explore, and stroll while enjoying readings, performances, and other literary mayhem. Participating presses and literary organizations have included The Rumpus, Red Hen Press, Los Angeles Review of Books, and PEN Center USA, with appearances by the Los County Library’s Bookmobile and the Los Angeles Public Library’s Library Store on Wheels.
