This fifth edition of our Shadow & Light series brings to the S.F. Public Library a moderated discussion about the impact of the current regime on immigrant writers' lives as well as their creativity. We explore how immigrant voices can prevail against our nation’s current intellectual recession, and perhaps even advance the cause of cultural curiosity. Moderated by Nyuol Lueth Tong, editor of The Bare Life Review.
NOTE: Admission is free, but please register in advance. Because of high demand for this series, we ask for a limit of two tickets per reservation.
