1. What is your favorite book?

Joseph Roth

Consistency is not important.
4. How old were you when you were first published?
26, I think.
5. What writing style do you most abhor?
Purple.
6. What is your favorite word?
Ampersand. I’ve never used it.
7. When and how do you write?
On a computer, whenever and wherever I can.
8. What is your greatest fear when you first turn in a manuscript?
That it sucks.
9. In what era do you wish you’d been born?
I have no problem with this one.
10. Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
“As if in a dream.”
11. Which talent would you most like to have?
The talents a writer doesn’t have are those things that define your style.
12. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Tossing out a complete draft of a novel and starting over.
13. Who is your favorite hero of fiction?
Franz Tunda
14. How would you like to die?
I don’t want to die.
