All of us at the festival are deeply mourning the loss of Litquake Foundation board member Kathi Kamen Goldmark, who passed away this Thursday from cancer. She touched many lives in the literary and music worlds, from the Bay Area to the rest of the country and beyond.
Her accomplishments are many (here is her Wikipedia page). She was generous, supportive, and hilariously funny, and we shall not see such a person come this way again.
