In this workshop, residents of San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) read and discuss short selections from exceptional authors. The instructor offers a writing prompt inspired by theme or craft, and everyone puts pen to paper. The group then shares the work aloud.
SFCJL residents find their voices, open up to memory and creativity, and discover community in these workshops, made possible through a partnership with the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living.
“Litquake is for everyone. Express yourself. No criticism! No protocols! The supportive writers/facilitators provide ideas to guide you or, if you wish, leave you to write as you will. Come out and write!” –Esther
