Writing in Community
A discussion of exceptional fiction, nonfiction, and poetry is followed by in-class writing time, with prompts inspired by the reading’s theme or technique. The writing is then shared aloud. Both experienced and emerging writers are welcome at this workshop led by published teaching artists. Since 2018, it’s been a creative community helping writers achieve their aims, whether their goal is to spark a writing practice or polish their work for publication.
“Friends I’ve known for close to 50 years recently expressed their delight that I am continuing to write. The format and the people of this group encourage me to keep at it.” – Doris
Wednesdays, 6pm PST(via Zoom) | July 12 - September 27
